We at Bright Side wanted to know if it was worth sacrificing a comfortable bed for a hard floor. So we did some research and decided to share our findings with you. But before trying to experiment, it is best to first consult a doctor.

When you sleep on the floor, your body weight is evenly distributed and your hips, lumbar spine and shoulders are less stressed. This allows blood to flow freely throughout the body at night, which can help keep your organs working well.
Efficient blood circulation can help oxygen and healthy blood to be distributed throughout the body, allowing your heart, lungs and muscles to function properly. It also allows white blood cells to be transported around the body as needed, which can help your immune system fight off disease more easily.
You may find it easier to keep your spine straight throughout the day.
We often feel the need to slouch because keeping our spine straight throughout the day can be painful for some of us. Sleeping on the floor can help align and straighten the spine and neck, which helps improve overall posture.
Better posture can not only relieve neck and shoulder tension, but also reduce the risk of migraines and headaches, scoliosis and joint pain. People who maintain good posture may also have better energy levels, increased lung capacity, and improved mood.
People who sleep on their backs or stomachs may have less back pain
