Miss France 2023: the French swimsuit secret that adheres to their morphology

Annual recurrence requires, next December 17 will be held the most famous beauty contest in France. On the program, 30 young women will compete to win the title of Miss France 2023 and thus succeed Diane Leyre. To put the odds on their side and win the vote even before the d-day, the contenders for the Miss France crown have a habit of traveling around the world, and putting their suitcases in a heavenly destination, the time to do a series of promotional photos.

THE MISS IN SWIMWEAR FOR THEIR TRIP TO GUADELOUPE

This year, the candidates flew to Guadeloupe, the location of their preparation trip for the national competition broadcast on TF1. Far from bending the protocol, the Misses have lent themselves to various nautical and sports activities, but also to the exercise of the traditional pose in a swimsuit. Stylist and graduate of the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture in Paris, Aurore Donguy has been working for seven years on the Miss preparation trip. “As each woman has a different body, I try to get as many swimsuits as possible,” the expert told Le Figaro. During this clothing experience, candidates have no obligation to wear a swimsuit. “Now is their time. On the rest of the trip, they are required to dress for group activities. For this session, they can express themselves” underlines Aurore Donguy to our colleagues.

“I WILL SEE WHAT BEST CORRESPONDS TO MY MORPHOLOGY”

Selection criteria far from displeasing to the candidates. “I first look at the color that best suits my complexion. The terra cotta jersey is the one that suited me the most. I tried on a two-piece but the headband crushed my chest, ”reports Herenui Tuheiava, Miss Tahiti 2022 to the same media before the photoshoot. For her part, Salomé Maud, Miss Limousin, takes her measurements into account. “I will see what best suits my morphology because I have a little chest. A two-piece can be pretty”.
