Tai Chi Chuan

Qigong

Qi gong, or "energy work" is a traditional gymnastics that also comes from China. Often used in addition to traditional Chinese medicine, Qi Gong is a practice based on mastering vital energy, “qi”. It is practiced by performing a series of slow movements that allow you to work on the breath, concentration and breathing all at the same time.

Thanks to this practice, the muscles become more flexible and the joints are worked gently. It is also useful on the psychological level because it helps to manage emotions, improve memory and allow you to have better sleep.

Aquagym
Yes, aquagym is also part of the gentle gymnastics that are very suitable for seniors. It is a gymnastics that is practiced in water (a swimming pool or a basin). It has many advantages because it limits the risk of muscle breakdown or elongation while offering a wide range of motion. In fact, in the water, the weight of the body does not hinder movement.

Aquagym has many benefits: the movements, carried out in the water, have a certain draining effect which makes it possible to shape the silhouette in the long term, to make the cardio-respiratory system work well. In addition, this practice solicits all the muscles of the body.

This sport is for everyone, regardless of age, even if it is not uncommon to feel intense fatigue after class. No worries though! It is good fatigue which then allows you to have a more restful sleep.
