Doctors ask this pregnant mother to sacrifice her daughter to save her sons
Chloé Dunstan and her husband Rohan have already started a family of three adorable boys who bring them a lot of happiness. But they kept in their desire to have a little girl and so decided to retry the experience of pregnancy. Once again pregnant, the mother was quick to share her joy with her husband, who was just as happy about this new event! What they did not know was that they would soon be faced with a difficult choice that would change their lives forever, as our colleagues in the Daily Mail report.
Once the pregnancy has been discovered, enthusiastic parents have begun preparing the room for their future baby. It was during a simple routine visit to the gynecologist that they discovered that not only was the pregnancy going well, but that it was not one, but three babies that had been conceived! After the shock of the news, they assimilated the idea of going from 3 children to a family of 8! The arrival of the triplets would indeed turn their homes!
They chained up on the plans to welcome the three babies, and were excited at the prospect of hosting their triplets! Except that they were far from being at the end of their surprises, since during another check of health, the assessment was not very happy.

Indeed, and unlike her brothers who normally developed for triplets, the third female baby seemed to have more difficulty following the development curve of her brothers.

Chloe was faced with a difficult choice, to continue her pregnancy at the risk of a sudden death of her daughter or to undergo a surgical operation that could save her, but which put the lives of her brothers in danger.
Faced with this dilemma, Chloe was pressed by doctors to make a choice because the risk increased as the days progressed. She had to decide whether she agreed to be operated on and take the risk of life-threatening three babies or sacrificing her daughter's life so that the other two survived and came into the world in good health. After much research to inform her judgment, she decided to continue the course of her pregnancy and give their chances to her three babies.

She said on her Facebook page: "I could hardly listen to that ... my decision was one way: I want ALL my babies! I briefly considered the alternative, I did a lot of research to try to understand what my babies were going through. I knew it would be difficult, but I could not give up my daughter. I knew she was strong because she was up to 28 weeks old, while she was barely eating properly in my stomach. "
This choice will prove to be judicious since the triplets will come out well all three sets! They will be immediately placed in intensive care neonatology, but they gained weight and health every day that passed. Pearl, the miraculous little girl, suffered from the consequences of her underdevelopment and premature birth, but fought like a champion and came out easily! They are now doing wonderfully all three and make the happiness of their parents and family!
Today, children have grown up and are adorable little faces! It is blessed that their adventure went well and that everything went well.
The mental burden of parents of triplets
The birth of a baby is not without disrupting the peaceful and well-run routine of the day, so having three at once leaves no one unmoved and means that all efforts, sleepless nights, joys and sacrifices are tripled !

When asked about the impact this has on parents, a study clarifies the issue by showing that it was not uncommon for parents to feel feelings of confusion and uncertainty. This is due to the fact that they have not been psychologically and emotionally prepared for this change that can generate anxiety and apprehension.

Especially since the same study highlights the prevalence of certain character traits in multiple birth children such as attention deficit disorder or hyperactivity disorder that were more common in twins and multiples. What is not to facilitate the task!

Although it may seem risky, the mother's decision to keep her little girl to give her the same chances of survival as her brothers was the right choice to make in this case. In fact, it results from the unfortunate prenatal and postnatal consequences of the loss of a fetus on family dynamics. This would profoundly impact not only the parents, especially the mother but also the surviving babies to that other fetus who will not see the light of day.
