A natural recipe for reducing bad cholesterol
ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of ginger juice

- 1 tablespoon of cider vinegar

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

- 1 tablespoon of onion juice

- 1 glass of water

Preparation
Add all ingredients to a saucepan and heat over low heat. Stir occasionally, leave for 30 minutes and remove from heat. Then cover your pan and let cool. If you wish, add a tablespoon of honey to soften the taste and keep in a tightly closed jar. Consume a tablespoon of this remedy every morning on an empty stomach.



Why does it work?
Ginger: Rich in phenolic antioxidants, ginger is an excellent remedy to fight against the formation of lipid plaque responsible for atherosclerosis. In a study of 85 people with high cholesterol levels, 3 grams of ginger powder resulted in a significant reduction in the number of cholesterol markers.

Apple cider vinegar: Studies suggest that apple cider vinegar, which is rich in acetic acid, can reduce cholesterol and triglyceride levels, as well as several other risk factors for heart disease.

Lemon: A study found that consuming 24 grams of citrus fiber extract (including lemon) a month could reduce cholesterol levels in the blood. Also, compounds found in lemons, namely hesperidin and diosmin, have also been shown to reduce cholesterol.
