Tackling disturbing ideas by not believing them
My friend: Who did not control the negative and disturbing ideas and did not find the best way to liberate them, in the face of this humble I will give you a deadly weapon to confront every disturbing idea trying to undermine you.
But you will ask me what is this weapon ??
The weapon is in that:
Live your feelings but do not believe everything you think
When you have an annoying idea on your head, try the following:
1 - Allow yourself to observe the idea in your head and try to understand it, usually ideas are bounced to our heads in a familiar and refined and stuck in our heads for some reason.
2 - Note whether the disturbing idea is old and repeated, but also note that it is not true and it is not of importance.
3 - Note the presence of any tension or change in heart rate or breathing and the luck that you feel in your heart or in your chest or in your throat or elsewhere in your body and once you notice the idea and feeling the attention of your attention to your breathing.
4 - Watch the nature of your feelings with the entry and exit of the soul, often dissipated idea and feelings associated with it naturally when you do.
5 - At other times can distract your attention from your breathing if it happens to imagine that the idea and feelings like a cloud dissipate and float away from you and imagine your breath and your breath wind dissipated and move that clouds away and without bother. You do not need to push the idea about you but just feel yourself.
6. Note that this method is not credible or retroactive. The opposite of suppressing the idea is accepting its existence and not believing it.
7. Note that ideas come and go like clouds, and accept that sometimes you can not control the way they come to your mind.
8 - Note that you do not have to accept the content of the idea automatically, sometimes the idea does not mean anything, do not worry.
9 - Trained on this and then trained and trained continue to practice comes with great results.
This method can be used with any distracted thoughts or even disturbing emotions including anger, jealousy, anxiety, shame or guilt.
