For weight loss, exercise is very important. But with a newborn to take care of, finding time to go to the gym or doing intensive workouts at home may not be possible for many new mothers.

But, you can always take a walk to get back in shape. If you can do 30 minutes of brisk walking every day, you will burn about 150 extra calories a day.
Start with 20 minutes of walking, three to five days a week. Gradually increase the duration and speed of walking.
You can even put your baby in a stroller and take a walk. This will help connect you and your child, and the fresh air will be good for both of you.
